River have lost Juan Fernando Quintero and Fausto Vera for Sunday’s Superclásico against Boca after both sustained injuries following the Carabobo tie in the Copa Sudamericana.
According to SuperDepor.com, both players reported discomfort post-match, underwent medical tests, and have been ruled out for the weekend.

Vera has a medial collateral ligament sprain in his knee, with an estimated recovery time of two to three weeks.
Quintero has a psoas muscle injury, which will keep him out for a minimum of one week and up to two.
The head coach must now reshape the midfield for a major date in the calendar, losing a regular ball-winner and a key creative option.
