Rob Edwards says Wolves have a fully fit squad for a testing double-header against Liverpool this week. According to Molineux.news, the head coach is buoyant about their readiness.
Friday’s 2-0 win at Aston Villa, with goals from Joao Gomes and Rodrigo Gomes, has lifted spirits. It was Edwards’ second Premier League victory since taking charge.
At his Monday press conference he reported no injury concerns, rare at this stage of the season. Asked if that included Hwang Hee-chan, who has missed the last five matchday squads with a calf issue, he indicated yes.
Midfielder Andre also appears fine after hobbling off late on at Villa, welcome news after his display. Liverpool, by contrast, are contending with injuries to Alexander Isak, Wataru Endo, Connor Bradley, Diego Leoni and Stefan Bajcetic, while Florian Wirtz is a doubt.
Edwards has underlined the need for focus and defensive resolve from the first minute against a quick, aggressive opponent. Despite an awful campaign, Wolves have taken on the leading sides in 2025/26, and fans will hope for another strong showing tonight.
