Rob Edwards rules Sam Johnstone out for Leeds, Mosquera banned, late decision on Matt Doherty | OneFootball

Wolves will be without Sam Johnstone and Yerson Mosquera for Saturday’s Premier League trip to Leeds United at Elland Road.

At Friday’s pre-Leeds press conference, Rob Edwards confirmed Johnstone will not travel, and said a late call would be taken on Matt Doherty as he pushes to be involved, according to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk.

Mosquera starts a two-match suspension after his 10th booking of the season in last weekend’s 4-0 defeat at West Ham.

Johnstone suffered a shoulder injury and did not make the squad at the London Stadium. There had been suggestions his season may be over.

Doherty also sat out West Ham after a knock. The experienced full-back is being monitored ahead of kick-off.

Young winger Enso González has not featured for the first team this season. He last played in February for the under-21s, then required surgery on a meniscus injury that was initially expected to sideline him for around two months.
