Portugal are in camp in Cancún, Mexico, a few days before facing Mexico. On day two, Roberto Martínez had 26 players after João Neves, the former Benfica midfielder, joined full training.
Pedro Gonçalves also returned to the group. Record writes that both Neves and the Sporting winger had been working separately since the start of the camp due to injury recovery, and they now appear to have no limitations.
Benfica defenders António Silva and Tomás Araújo are part of the squad.
Thursday’s late-afternoon session on 26 March was held in a pleasant 26C.
The session was led by Martínez and watched by Pedro Proença, FPF president, alongside other officials.
Portugal are preparing for the first of several friendlies towards the 2026 World Cup. They face Mexico in the early hours of Sunday, 29 March, then the United States in the early hours of 1 April.
