Corinthians host Red Bull Bragantino on Thursday night at 20:00 at Neo Química Arena in round three of the 2026 Campeonato Brasileiro, offering Rodrigo Garro a chance to end an 18-match goalless run.

He last scored on 10 September 2025, finishing after a Gui Negão pass having rounded the goalkeeper, in a 2-0 home win over Athletico-PR in the Copa do Brasil quarter-final second leg.

According to Meu Timao, the Argentine then endured right calf trouble that ruled him out of the league run-in, while Breno Bidon’s emergence in the central berth reduced his minutes.

In 2026 he has started three of nine Corinthians matches. He has one assist, delivered in the club’s only Campeonato Brasileiro outing so far, a 2-1 defeat to Bahia when he set up Yuri Alberto.

Garro spent much of 2024 playing through right knee pain with injections, then used early 2025 for treatment, including specialist follow-up in Spain. Further calf issues followed, though he began 2026 fit, and his stray pass preceded Palmeiras’ 1-0 derby winner last Sunday.

For Corinthians he has 107 appearances, 87 starts, with the side posting 49 wins, 27 draws and 31 defeats in that span. He has produced 24 assists and 15 goals, and featured in the 2025 Campeonato Paulista and Copa do Brasil triumphs, plus the 2026 Supercopa do Brasil.
