Rodrygo labels Real Madrid teammate as ‘on fire’ | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Rodrygo has moved to reveal his appreciation for the recent efforts of attacking partner-in-crime Kylian Mbappé in front of goal.

This, of course, comes fresh off the Frenchman’s latest match-winning exploits on Tuesday.

Real Madrid kicked their European campaign into gear yesterday evening, in a Champions League meeting with Olympique Marseille.

And when all was said and done, it was a brace on the part of the aforementioned Mbappé which proved the difference between the sides.

As much added to a further Man of the Match display on the part of the 26-year-old over the weekend, building on what has been a stellar start to the new campaign.

And one individual on whom the significance of this form has not been at all lost is teammate Rodrygo.

Speaking to the media in the aftermath of last night’s victory, the Brazilian international explained:

“It’s a pleasure to play with Kylian Mbappé. We have a great connection, we combine a lot even in training. He’s on fire! I hope it stays this way and he keeps scoring a lot of goals.”
