Roma hope to conclude the deal with Besiktas for Tammy Abraham tonight, but it’s going to be for €15m plus bonuses and there is a change in the formula too.
The Giallorossi had been asking for €20m and so reports last night of a done deal were a little premature, as confirmed by Football Italia’s own Alfredo Pedullà.
There is a significant time problem here, as the Italians need to complete the sale by midnight to make a profit and avoid Financial Fair Play penalties.

According to Turkish transfer pundit Yagiz Sabuncuoglu and Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, the verbal agreement has now been reached on €15m plus bonuses.
The other significant difference is that the Turkish media insist this is a loan with obligation to buy at the end of the season.
That will allow Roma to register it as a guaranteed profit, but also for Besiktas to spread out the cost of the operation.
The clubs are now preparing the paperwork and are rushing to get it done by midnight.
Abraham has already accepted the move and agreed personal terms for a four-year contract.
