Roma finalizing Molina deal worth €17 million: agreement reached with Atletico, final details to be sorted | OneFootball

After Castro and Koulierakis, Roma is very close to making their third signing.

To strengthen their right flank, the Giallorossi had their eye on Givairo Read, a 2006-born Dutchman currently owned by Feyenoord.

However, the Rotterdam club’s demands were deemed excessive by those at Trigoria, so they opted for Nahuel Molina, currently playing for Atlético Madrid.

Yesterday, Roma presented the Colchoneros with an offer of €17 million, including bonuses, to bring the former Udinese player back to Italy. This sum is significantly lower than the €30 million Feyenoord was asking for Read.

According to Matteo Moretto, the deal between Roma and Molina is very close to being finalized and could be completed between today and tomorrow.

Fabrizio Romano adds that Atlético Madrid has accepted Roma’s offer of €13 million + €4 million in bonuses: direct contact is underway with the player’s team to finalize the final details.

Once Molina is a new Roma player, the new sporting director’s task will be to focus on the infamous attacking winger, for whom Nusa and Fofana remain in pole position.
