Artem Dovbyk’s tenure in the capital appears to be reaching an abrupt conclusion as Roma look to reshape their frontline. According to Il Messaggero (via VoceGiallorossa), the Ukrainian striker has been formally offered to several English clubs, with the Giallorossi hierarchy hoping to spark a bidding war in the Premier League.

Specifically, Everton and West Ham United have been given the opportunity to secure the forward, who joined Roma just last summer. The club’s urgency to find a buyer is tied to their pursuit of Giacomo Raspadori; however, attempts to simplify that deal have hit a roadblock. Roma reportedly offered Dovbyk to Atletico Madrid as a technical counterpart to lower the cash outlay for Raspadori, but the Spanish side firmly rejected the proposal, insisting on a purely financial agreement.

With Atletico closing the door, Roma are now leaning on the English market to generate the necessary funds. The goal is to offload Dovbyk to the highest bidder, allowing Frederic Massara to reinvest the proceeds into the “double blow” of Raspadori and Joshua Zirkzee.
