The emergency situation in attack, with Dovbyk likely to return only in the new year, will lead Roma to intervene in the January transfer market.

The first name on Massara’s list, strongly sought after by Gasperini, has long been clear: Zirkzee.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Roma has already initiated initial contact with Manchester United regarding Zirkzee.
The Dutch striker is on his way out of the Red Devils and would welcome a return to Italy, where he previously played for Bologna, to try and secure a World Cup call-up for his native Netherlands.
However, West Ham are also interested.
