Serie A heavyweights Roma are open to selling talismanic forward Paulo Dybala in the January transfer window. During his pre-match conference ahead of last night’s Coppa Italia win against Sampdoria, Giallorossi sporting director Florent Ghisolfi opened the door for the Argentine’s winter exit.

“For Paulo, we’re at the beginning of the transfer window, so rumors have started,” Ghisolfi told Mediaset via Calciomercato. “We know his importance to the team and his feelings for Roma. If something comes up, we’ll listen, but he’s very attached to us. For now, there have been no contacts.“

Despite encountering numerous injury setbacks during his two-year stint at Roma, Dybala has been the club’s headline performer. However, the 31-year-old has grown frustrated with the club’s turmoil, expressing a genuine desire to leave the Stadio Olimpico.

Out of favor with new Roma boss Claudio Ranieri, Dybala is ready to pack his bags in January. Turkish giants Galatasaray are reportedly looking to persuade their Italian counterparts to offload their unsettled superstar. Known for their capacity to lure elite stars to Istanbul, they dream of pairing Dybala up with Napoli loanee Victor Osimhen.

Dybala’s potential departure would be a devastating blow for Roma. However, the Giallorossi could take a proactive approach in the winter transfer window to address significant personnel shortcomings.
