Roma is already looking ahead to the next session to strengthen Gasperini’s squad.

Among the players being monitored, according to a report by the L’Interista portal, is Davide Frattesi, who is increasingly on the sidelines for the Nerazzurri.

Frattesi, who had been linked with Roma in the past, was ready to leave the Nerazzurri this transfer window.

However, negotiations for his possible transfer were complicated by the failure to sign Curtis Jones, who was supposed to replace him but ultimately couldn’t reach an agreement. This effectively blocked Frattesi’s departure.

Nonetheless, the feeling is that the midfielder could leave this summer. Roma could seize this opportunity to complete the deal.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter value him at €35 million, and the Nerazzurri still have a strong interest in Koné, whom they already attempted to sign last summer.

The matter will not be discussed again until June. Roma have never given the impression of wanting to sell the Frenchman, but if they fail to qualify for the Champions League, they might be forced to sacrifice one of their star players.

In that case, the Frenchman’s money would be reinvested in Frattesi.
