Chelsea winger Tyrique George had been in talks with Roma and RB Leipzig, but has seemingly now agreed a €22m plus add-ons move to Fulham instead, with a knock-on effect for Tommaso Baldanzi.
The 19-year-old was still very much on the Giallorossi radar last night, having emerged as an alternative to Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho, who is heading to Aston Villa.
However, he was considered too expensive for a relatively untested player.

Football Italia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà also notes that the fact George was proposed to Roma by the agent he shares with Sancho made the situation far worse.
This is because Sancho strung the Giallorossi along for weeks, irritating the club, who felt his attitude was disrespectful.
RB Leipzig made an approach today as well, but multiple sources including Sport Mediaset and Sportitalia report Fulham have clinched an agreement for the Chelsea man instead.
He is crossing London for €22m plus bonuses and a percentage of the sell-on fee.
Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia, Sportmediaset and Sportitalia also report that Roma have dropped the loan of Tommaso Baldanzi to Hellas Verona because they have been unable to find a suitable replacement.
