Roma ‘to consider’ Adingra as Brighton ‘join’ Bardghji chase | OneFootball

Roma are said to be weighing a move for Sunderland winger Simon Adingra as they assess wide options, VoceGialloRossa reports.

Separately, Sport claims Brighton have joined Sunderland and Leeds United in pursuit of Barcelona’s Roony Bardghji.

Roma are understood to have Antonio Nusa as their priority and are also looking at Ibrahim Mbaye. Having missed out on Mason Greenwood and Crysencio Summerville, Adingra is viewed as an alternative within the Giallorossi set-up.

Adingra left Brighton and Hove Albion for Sunderland last summer, producing one goal and one assist in 15 appearances before a loan to Monaco in the second half of the season. His future on Wearside is uncertain, and Sunderland are said to value the Ivory Coast international at around £30m, which would represent roughly £9m profit if Roma meet that figure.

Bardghji, 20, moved from FC Copenhagen to Barcelona last summer, delivering two goals and four assists in 28 outings. Only 10 of those were starts under Hansi Flick, and the arrivals of Newcastle United star Anthony Gordon and Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi appear to have further limited his prospects.

The report also suggests Barcelona could approve a sale with a buy-back clause, while the winger would prefer a loan to show his worth before returning to Catalonia.
