The Rossonere earned another vital, hard-fought and deserved point. After the goalless draw in Florence, AC Milan took a point off league leaders and clear Scudetto favourites Juventus at the PUMA House of Football. Dompig opened the scoring from the spot in the 2-2 draw. Beccari and Girelli then gave the guests the lead before Karczewska netted a 90th-minute equaliser. It was a just reward given all the courage displayed by Suzanne Bakker's side.
Through sheer determination and attention, the Rossonere, who were wearing the 2024/25 Fourth Kit, made up for the heavy home defeat to the Bianconere a month ago. They had clearly learnt from their mistakes and showed great team spirit to bring home a point ahead of the run-in. After matchday 2 in the Championship Round, AC Milan have 27 points in the table, still in fifth place but now just two points behind Fiorentina. Now, the team need to rest and recover ahead of the derby against Inter next Sunday afternoon. Brave ragazze!

MATCH REPORT The first noteworthy moment came in the fourth minute when Brighton hit the post directly from a corner. AC Milan then got on the front foot: in the fifth minute, Dompig tested Peyraud-Magnin. Bonansea's wayward effort was followed, in the 11th minute, by Ijeh's headed effort. The Rossonere took the lead in the 19th minute following a good move, which ended with Renzotti being brought down in the area by Harviken. Dompig stepped up to take the penalty and tucked it away into the corner. Juventus reacted strongly but Giuliani did well first to deny Krumbiegel from range (27') and then Girelli from a header (32'). A Vigilucci shot was the final flare-up of the first half.
The Bianconere looked to up the ante after the break: Krumbiegel (47'), Girelli (42') and Bennison (54') were all unsuccessful in their attempts. The next key moment for the Rossonere came in the 57th minute, but Mascarello fired wide. Substitutions changed the flow of the game and the guests got themselves level in the 63rd minute through Beccari, who picked the ball up from Cantore, stopped, took aim, and sent her shot into the back of the net. Juventus got their second goal in the 72nd minute. Cantore again the creator, feeding Girelli who scored with a low, driven effort. The Diavolo were struggling to get anything going, but they kept at it and got the equaliser on the verge of full-time. Ijeh's flick-on found Nadim, who sent a diagonal ball in towards Karcewska, who beat Peyraud-Magnin with an inventive backheel. Full-time.
