Salem Al-Dossari ‘to miss’ Al-Taawoun as Al-Hilal prioritise Al-Sadd quarter-final | OneFootball

Salem Al-Dossari is set to miss Al-Hilal’s Roshen League meeting with Al-Taawoun on Saturday at Kingdom Arena.

According to Okaz, the winger has not fully recovered from a knee problem, ruling him out of the round 27 fixture.

Al-Dossari sustained the injury after the Al-Ahli Clásico in the King’s Cup. Al-Hilal are now concentrating on readying him for Al-Sadd on 13 April at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium in the AFC Champions League quarter-finals.

That stance contrasts with Tuesday’s reports suggesting he was close to featuring against Al-Taawoun as his recovery progressed.

Since the start of this season, Al-Dossari has played 27 matches for Al-Hilal, scoring eight goals and supplying 10 assists.
