Sam Sene-Richardson joins Brentford B | OneFootball

Sam Sene-Richardson has joined Brentford B on a permanent deal from Chatham Town.

The 19-year-old has signed a two-year deal running until the summer of 2028, with a club option of an additional year.

The midfielder came through the academy ranks at Chatham Town before establishing himself in the first team during the 2024/25 season, when he won the club’s Young Player of the Season and Player of the Season awards.

Sene-Richardson starred for Chatham in the Isthmian Premier Division last year during a campaign which saw the side finish fourth in the table before being defeated by Billericay Town in the play-offs.

He scored in that loss, taking his tally for the campaign to 11 goals, while also contributing 27 assists. The midfielder went on to win a second-straight Young Player of the Season award and Players’ Player of the Season.

Brentford B head coach Sam Saunders said: “We’re really pleased to have Sam on board. He’s going to bring some experience with playing first-team football.

“His record last season for Chatham, playing lots of minutes, scoring and assisting lots of goals, is something that definitely didn’t go unnoticed.

“He’s going to come here and take the opportunity with both hands. We’re really looking forward to working with Sam.”
