Sandro Tonali set for Spurs medical | OneFootball

Sandro Tonali is set to undertake his medical at Tottenham Hotspur before completing a £100 million move to the club.

According to the reliable David Ornstein of The Athletic, Newcastle United have accepted a bid of an initial £92.5 million with a further £7.5 million in add-ons from Spurs, who are looking to invest heavily to rebuild after two seasons finishing close to the relegation zone.

The Italian is said to have agreed a six-year deal with Tottenham which will see him enjoy a significant increase in his salary.

The 26-year-old first joined the Magpies from AC Milan back in the summer of 2023 and has since featured 110 times for the club, netting 10 goals and making nine assists.

The arrival of Tonali will be another statement of intent from Spurs who are also expected to complete the transfer of Mateus Fernandes from West Ham United.
