Galatasaray drew 1-1 with Kocaelispor in İstanbul on Sunday as the leaders stayed top of the Süper Lig, with Leroy Sané's first half header cancelled out by Bruno Petković after the break.

In the 30th minute, Leroy Sané glanced in Ismail Jakobs' cross to put Aslan ahead.

Before the opener, Serhat Öztaşdelen denied Gabriel Sara, and after the restart he tipped over Sané's strike as Kocaelispor resisted mounting pressure.

Substitute Tayfur Bingöl impressed down the right (53.) and cut the ball back for fellow replacement Bruno Petković to equalise (72.).

Daniel Agyei struck the right post late (84.), and Uğurcan Çakır saved from Can Keleş during the same spell.

Aslan controlled 67.4% possession and tallied 13 attempts, with six on target. Kocaelispor produced eight attempts and made 25 clearances.
