Santos are in talks with betting operator ZeroUm over a main shirt sponsorship. According to Globo.com, the proposal is worth more than R$ 80 million over two years, with the brand promoted online by advocate and influencer Deolane Bezerra, who has more than 21 million Instagram followers.
The club have been seeking a principal sponsor since the start of the season after a deal with 7k collapsed. They have also negotiated with Novibet, which is offering R$ 35 million per season, though no agreement is close.
ZeroUm is expected to undergo detailed compliance checks at the club, as a Federal Government document says it operates in Brazil only under a court order during a transition period. The company does not appear on the Finance Ministry’s regulation list.
ZeroUm was incorporated in July 2024 with capital of R$ 30 million. Bezerra was a partner until November 2024 before leaving the company, according to Jucesp records.
Her exit came around two months after Fantástico broadcast a report outlining police suspicions about the bookmaker, with investigations alleging it was created to launder money from illegal gambling. Bezerra’s representatives later told the programme that ZeroUm was not part of the investigation.
Although no longer a partner, Bezerra has promoted ZeroUm on social media in recent days. The brand appeared on Portuguesa’s shirt last Sunday in their Paulistão quarter-final against Corinthians.
