Santos in Umbro renewal talks, third kit to be launched in coming weeks | OneFootball

According to Diario Do Peixe, Santos are negotiating an early renewal of their Umbro kit supply deal. The current contract runs until the end of 2027, and the club is seeking 'luvas' to help a critical financial situation, with delays to salaries and image rights and a transfer ban.

A club delegation visited Umbro’s headquarters last week to strengthen ties and align details for a possible new agreement.

Umbro have supplied Santos without interruption since 2018, and both parties are satisfied with the partnership. The brand also worked with the club in previous years.

At the start of Andres Rueda’s tenure, before renewing with Umbro, the club contacted other manufacturers. Puma, Nike and Adidas did not submit proposals, Volt offered the highest payment, but Santos judged Umbro’s overall package the best.

Over the next few weeks, Umbro and Santos will unveil this season’s third kit, a black design referencing the club’s 1990s strips. An October release will feature the Outubro Rosa campaign, with further actions planned through December.
