Santos land R$4m for Copa do Brasil quarter-final berth | OneFootball

After a goalless first leg at Vila Belmiro, Cuca's Santos beat Remo 1-0 at Mangueirão in Pará to reach the Copa do Brasil quarter-finals. According to Diario Do Peixe, the club will receive R$4m for advancing.

The club had already earned R$2m for entering the fifth phase, then a further R$3m on reaching the last 16 against the Pará side.

The quarter-final draw will be held, with first legs set for 26 or 27 August and returns on two or three September.

Semi-finals are scheduled for one and eight November. The final is slated for six December.

Santos have won the competition only once, in 2010 with Neymar. Further payments rise to R$9m for semi-finalists, R$34m for the runners-up and R$78m for the champions.
