Santos will face UCV in the 2026 Copa Sudamericana play-offs.

According to Diario Do Peixe, the tie is slated for 21 or 22 July in Venezuela, with the return at Vila Belmiro on 27 or 28 July.

UCV, Universidad Central da Venezuela, finished third in Group H of the Copa Libertadores with nine points, behind Rosario Central of Argentina and Independente Del Vale of Ecuador.

Founded in 1950 in Caracas, UCV are one of the country’s traditional clubs. They play at the Estádio Olímpico, which holds 20,000.

In the Libertadores, UCV recorded three wins and three defeats, scored seven goals and conceded 11, ending with the best record among the third-placed teams.

Santos had the worst campaign among the Copa Sudamericana runners-up, collecting seven points with one win, four draws and one defeat, scoring eight and conceding six.

The round of 16 draw will be held by Conmebol at midday on Friday, when Santos will learn their potential opponents should they progress.
