São Paulo announced at the end of last month the information about ticket sales for the decisive quarter-final match of the Copa Libertadores, against LDU, from Ecuador, at Morumbi.

The second match against the Ecuadorians will be on September 25, a Thursday, at 7pm (Brasília time), at the Tricolor stadium. Before that, Crespo's team visits LDU a week earlier, on the 18th, in Quito.

And this Thursday (11), a date when only some members-supporters can already purchase their tickets for the match, São Paulo announced the opening of an extra batch, due to the high demand for sales.

Starting at 6pm, more tickets were exceptionally released for the North Stand Oreo and North Chair Oreo sectors to the member supporters, following the order of opening of the sales waves.

The Tricolor reminded in the statement that these two sectors of Morumbi do not include benefits in any of the plans of the Sócio-Torcedor program, therefore, they will practice priority with the full value, previously defined, of the sector.

The prices are steep. São Paulo even removed the term 'popular sector' from its cheapest stand, as the value is not popular at all. The North Stand will be sold for the whopping price of R$ 150.

The values, excluding the boxes, reach R$ 800 in the special chair sectors of Morumbi. In its last home game for the Libertadores, the club set its attendance record for the year, with 57,559 fans at the match against Atlético Nacional.

The tickets for the members-supporters with the highest priority have already started to be sold on Saturday morning (6), and the sale to the general Tricolor public only opens on September 14.

BIOMETRICS

The General Sports Law provides that all stadiums with a capacity of more than 20,000 people must adopt the facial recognition system. This rule is valid for matches of all competitions, and São Paulo started to adopt it in the duel with Mirassol for the Brasileirão, on May 24.

THUS, FROM THIS MATCH, THE FACIAL REGISTRATION WILL BE MANDATORY FOR TICKET PURCHASE AND ACCESS TO THE STADIUM.
