As uncertainty grows around Robert Lewandowski’s future at Barcelona, Saudi Arabian clubs are reportedly preparing to make another move for the Polish striker, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The report highlights that interest from the Middle East has not faded, despite Lewandowski turning down a massive offer exceeding €100 million last summer.
In fact, the outlet suggests that both Al Hilal and Al Nassr remain attentive to his situation and could soon test Barcelona’s resolve once again.
Lewandowski, who has been one of the club’s most consistent performers since his arrival from Bayern Munich, recently offered a candid update about his contract situation.
When asked about a potential renewal, the striker said he is “in no hurry to renew” his current deal, which runs until 2026.
At 37, the veteran forward has already explained that he wishes to evaluate his physical and mental condition at the end of the season before making any long-term decisions.
However, football often moves faster than sentiment, and two European clubs, namely, Fenerbahçe and AC Milan, have emerged as possible destinations should Lewandowski decide to move on from Barcelona.

Despite the growing speculation, Lewandowski’s on-field performances continue to speak volumes.
Still, MD notes that the Saudi Pro League could return with a lucrative proposal, one that might be difficult for either Barcelona or the player to ignore this time.
Last summer, Lewandowski’s agent, Pini Zahavi, confirmed that the striker had rejected a nine-figure offer from Saudi Arabia.
Zahavi had revealed that an investment fund could have taken him to Al Hilal or Al Nassr, but he was not convinced by the proposal that amounted to €100 million.
Recently, rumours of Lewandowski’s potential retirement also surfaced, but Zahavi quickly shut them down, saying, “As long as he’s fit, and he is, he’ll keep playing.”
For now, Lewandowski’s focus remains firmly on Barcelona, but as the season progresses, Saudi Arabia’s persistence could once again test the striker’s loyalty and the club’s future plans.
