Premier League relegation candidates Everton have something to smile about in recent weeks after the Toffees have seen an uptick in results.
A Boxing Day draw against struggling Manchester City was added to what is now a trio of scalps having taken points off Arsenal and Chelsea as well.
And club captain Séamus Coleman believes those results could be the catalyst for better things to come at Goodison Park.
"Coming away from home to one of the big teams is always difficult, but I think the lads have shown great qualities this December so far together in this fighting spirit, fighting until the very end," he told Everton TV.
“Every game brings its own challenges and it's important that we go into the next few games with the same desire and same work rate and same effort, and if you do that, you've got a chance."
With a run of Premier League fixtures to come against Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth, Aston Villa, Tottenham, and Brighton, those words will surely be put to the test.
