Sport Bild reports that Real Madrid are monitoring VfB Stuttgart coach Sebastian Hoeneß, consider the 43-year-old among their options, and have yet to make contact with him or the club.
Álvaro Arbeloa is in interim charge after Xabi Alonso was sacked at the start of the year. With no real turnaround, a change is widely expected in the summer.

Hoeneß is under contract with Stuttgart until 2028 and has no release clause. Any approach would require a transfer fee should it come to that.
Hoeneß joined Stuttgart from Hoffenheim in April 2023.
Chelsea and Manchester United have previously been linked with the Stuttgart boss.
