Charles: I want to be part of what City are building

The England international has become Andrée Jeglertz’s side’s latest on the back of last season’s WSL and FA Cup double-winning campaign, signing a three-year deal with the Club.

A serial winner during her six years with Chelsea, Charles is City’s second acquisition after Beth Mead joined the Club earlier in June.

During the former’s time with the Londoners, she won a staggering 13 honours which included five WSL titles, four FA Cups, three Subway Women’s League Cups and one Community Shield.

That success also translated onto the international stage with the versatile full-back helping the Lionesses to Euro 2025 glory, as well as the 2023 Finalissima and back-to-back Arnold Clark Cups.

And at 27, she has plenty of football ahead of her as she looks to help City push for further major honours in the years to come.
