Semenyo seals last-minute win as Bournemouth beat Spurs | OneFootball

Antoine Semenyo scored a stunning stoppage-time winner as Bournemouth ended an 11-game winless run with a 3-2 victory over Tottenham at Vitality Stadium, likely in his final appearance for the club before a move to Manchester City.

Spurs took an early lead when Mathys Tel fired home inside five minutes, but Evanilson headed in an equaliser shortly afterwards. The hosts regained the advantage in the 36th minute when Marcos Senesi’s cut-back found Eli Junior Kroupi, who slotted home his seventh goal of the season.

The second half saw Tottenham denied a potential penalty following VAR review, before Palhinha produced a spectacular overhead kick in the 78th minute to level for the visitors.

Semenyo, however, had the final word, curling a low strike from outside the box past Djordje Petrovic in the 95th minute to seal a memorable win for the Cherries.

The victory moves Bournemouth to 27 points from 21 games in 15th place, just one point behind Tottenham.
