Juventus and Lazio have sent condolences to former coach Igor Tudor, currently at Tottenham Hotspur.

According to Football Italia, he skipped media duties after last night's 3-0 Premier League home defeat to Nottingham Forest, officially to deal with a family matter later confirmed as the passing of his father, Marco.

Juventus were the first to issue a message this afternoon, expressing support for Tudor and his family and joining them in mourning.

Lazio also sent condolences, noting his brief spell in charge from March to June 2024 when he replaced Maurizio Sarri.

Hellas Verona likewise offered their sympathies to their former 2021 to 2022 coach and his family.

Tudor, 47, spent much of his career in Italian football, which he regards as a second home. He played for Juventus from 1998 to 2007 and returned as Andrea Pirlo's assistant in 2020 to 2021. He took interim charge in March 2025, stayed on that summer, and left in October 2025 after 24 games, having also coached Udinese in 2018 to 2019.
