Good evening and welcome to the Football Italia Liveblog for coverage of Tuesday night’s Serie A match between Inter and Bologna in San Siro.

Tonight’s match is a rearranged match, which was originally scheduled to be played in Week 19 at the start of the month, but was rearranged due to Inter’s commitments in the Supercoppa Italiana in Saudi Arabia.

Juventus were held to a 1-1 draw away against Atalanta last night, while Milan had to come from behind again to claim a 2-1 win away against Como.

Inter, meanwhile, can move within one point of Napoli at the top of the table with a victory this evening. Simone Inzaghi’s side will still have a game in hand over the Partenopei after the conclusion of tonight’s game.

Kick-off between Inter and Bologna is due at 19.45 GMT.

The visitors threatened early on: Hitting the post and finding the opener through Castro, but the Nerazzurri got into the groove as the half went on. Dumfries and Lautaro with the goals for Simone Inzaghi’s side.

Another Inter break – down the left this time. Dimarco makes his way forwards, provides an inch-perfect low cross into the area and Lautaro slams it into the roof of the net with his first touch.

Inter launch another attack on the Bologna goal. Asllani slips in Dumfries on the right hand side of the area. He tries a powerful effort, but Skorupski deals with it.

Barella tries to lob Skorupski – practically from the half-way line. The Bologna keeper catches it easily and gives a big smile and a laugh towards the Italian.

Thuram launches a counter attack, he finds Dimarco to his left who tries a shot. It’s spilled and Dumfries is on hand to tap home the rebound.

In possession, Barella is playing in his usual role on the right of Inter’s midfield three, but he is also taking on the Calhanoglu role when the Nerazzurri have the ball at the back. He’s always looking to pick it up off his defenders and build the attack.
