Choices here are rather limited for Allegri, because Rafael Leao, Alexis Saelemaekers and Pervis Estupinan are all suspended.

Samuele Ricci sprained his ankle and is only fit for the bench, where he sits alongside Luka Modric, back in the squad much earlier than expected after undergoing surgery for a fractured cheekbone on April 27.

Ardon Jashari therefore goes in midfield, with Fikayo Tomori returning from his ban after a 3-2 home defeat to Atalanta.

Christian Pulisic is available again following a muscular issue, but Nkunku and Gimenez form the new partnership upfront.

Genoa guaranteed their Serie A safety thanks to back-to-back 0-0 draws with Atalanta and Fiorentina.

They are therefore in celebratory mood and free of pressure, so eager to put on a show.

Junior Messias is out injured against his old club, along with Brooke Norton-Cuffy and Maxwel Cornet, but Tommaso Baldanzi and Johan Vasquez are available again.

It is a big evening for Ruslan Malinovskyi, who is saying goodbye in his final home game for Genoa, and former Milan youth product Lorenzo Colombo.
