Udinese lose Arthur Atta, but hope Nicolò Zaniolo can continue his strong form against Daniele De Rossi’s revitalised Genoa.

It kicks off at the Bluenergy Stadium in Udine at 17.00 GMT.

Udinese ended their run of back-to-back Serie A defeats to Roma and Bologna by beating Parma 2-0 at the Stadio Tardini last week.

Coach Kosta Runjaic rotated the squad for the midweek Coppa Italia Round of 16 loss to Juventus.

The most concerning absence is midfielder Atta, who has a muscular lesion and could be out for a while.

Hassane Kamara is also not fully fit with plantar fasciitis, but Zaniolo and Keinan Davis are finding form upfront.

Genoa have been revitalised since De Rossi took over from Patrick Vieira, as after caretaker manager Domenico Criscito oversaw the 2-1 win away to Sassuolo, he earned draws against Fiorentina and Cagliari, plus a 2-1 win over Verona.

Inevitably, he rested players during the midweek Coppa Italia 4-0 loss to Atalanta.

Brooke Norton-Cuffy returns from suspension, with Junior Messias, Hugo Cuenca and Jean Onana back from injury.

Ruslan Malinovskyi and Stefano Sabelli were struggling with flu symptoms, while Maxwel Cornet, Benjamin Siegrist and Albert Gronbaek are out of action.
