Benjamin Sesko has said he is keen to keep learning from Manchester United teammate Casemiro as the veteran midfielder nears the end of his time with the club.
Casemiro will leave Manchester United when his contract expires in the summer, despite an impressive return to form under interim boss Michael Carrick.
After a man-of-the-match performance in the Manchester Derby last month, Casemiro was central again as the Red Devils made it three straight wins under Carrick against Fulham.
The Brazilian scored the opening goal at Old Trafford and set up Matheus Cunha for the second. Fulham staged a fightback to equalise late on, but Sesko’s stoppage-time strike secured another three points for Carrick’s in-form team.
Speaking to Sky Sports at full-time, match-winner Sesko heaped praise on Casemiro’s role in the squad.
“He is an unbelievable player, a legend. It is nice to play with him and it is also nice to listen to his advice. His work rate is unbelievable and he gives all his teams a boost. We are grateful to have him with us.”
