West Ham look finally set to get moving in the summer transfer window with a new goalkeeper and coach set to arrive in east London.
The club have held still on the goalkeeper front for some weeks following the release of coach Xavi, who had been at West Ham since Manuel Pellegrini brought him to the club.
Graham Potter was eager to bring in his own man, with the new coach set to play a pivotal role in who the club would seek to bring in as a new goalkeeper and challenge Areola for the number one spot.
The club are now set to appoint former Danish under 21 goalkeeper Casper Ankergren, who had worked with Potter previously at Brighton.
Furthermore, it now leads us to believe that Leicester City keeper Mads Hermansen could well be set to head to the London Stadium this summer.
However, West Ham do face competition to land the Danish goalkeeper, with Chelsea and Manchester United also said to be keen to land the highly rated shot stopper.
