Sevilla star set for €20m Napoli switch | OneFootball

A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga outfit Sevilla is all set for a move to Serie A, with Antonio Conte’s Napoli.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Juanlu Sánchez as the player in question.

Juanlu has for his part seen his name dominate the headlines across Spain and Italy alike over the course of the last month.

This comes after confirmation was forthcoming that the aforementioned Napoli

Juanlu is fresh off a fine season in Nervión, which saw the 21-year-old, despite Sevilla’s collective struggles, rack up four goals and four assists across 32 La Liga appearances.

As much had long piqued the attentions of those behind the scenes in Naples, who in turn kickstarted negotiations over a deal for the Spanish youth international.

And after a round of talks lasting over a month, late this week, the brass at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona finally appear primed to land their man.

As per a report from MD:

‘It can’t yet be considered a done deal, but Juanlu Sánchez ‘s signing for Napoli is close to finally becoming a reality.’

The deal is expected to be worth a sum in the region of €20 million, including add-ons.
