Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has confirmed midfielder Jaïro Riedewald is back for the derby against Sheffield Wednesday.
Riedewald has not played in over a month, following a hamstring injury that he picked up. The Dutchman’s last appearance was against Mansfield in the FA Cup defeat.
Wilder said: “Jaïro is back, so the only players that are unavailable are Jamie Shackleton, Tom Davies, Sam McCallum and Joe Rothwell. So, off the back of that, everybody else is available.”
Riedewald has made 14 Championship appearances this season, scoring once.
Sheffield United are 15th going into the derby, and Sheffield Wednesday are 24th and bottom of the league.
If results go against Wednesday, their fierce rivals could confirm their relegation down to League One.
