FLW's Sheffield United fan pundit has reacted to news that the club's former advisor James Bord could be set to take over Sheffield Wednesday.

A new era could soon be underway at Sheffield Wednesday after James Bord was chosen as the preferred bidder for the club.
Wednesday have been on the market since former owner Dejphon Chansiri put the club and the company through which he owned the stadium into administration in October, bringing his decade-long tenure at Hillsborough to an end.
After the interested parties were whittled down, former Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley and American businessman David Storch were among the final three candidates, but Bord was given preferred bidder status by the club's administrators on Christmas Eve.
Bord is a former professional poker player who now runs data company Short Circuit Science, and he is the co-owner of Scottish Championship side Dunfermline Athletic, as well as holding stakes in Spanish club Cordoba and Bulgarian outfit Septemvri Sofia.
While he has never formally owned an English club, Bord is no stranger to the Championship having previously acted as a recruitment advisor to Sheffield United, with the Blades making a number of signings over the last year using his AI model, including the likes of Jefferson Cacares, Christian Nwachukwu, Mihail Polendakov, Nils Zatterstrom and Ehije Ukaki.
However, after just six months at Bramall Lane, Cacares departed on a permanent basis in the summer to join Dunfermline, while Nwachukwu, Polendakov, Zatterstrom and Ukaki have made a combined total of just one appearance for the Blades, with manager Chris Wilder recently confirming that Bord is no longer involved with the club.

When asked for his reaction to Bord being named as Wednesday's preferred bidder, FLW's Sheffield United fan pundit Jimmy, from the YouTube channel Blades Ramble, slammed the club's former advisor for his role in their summer recruitment, but he admitted he would feel some satisfaction at seeing him take over at Hillsborough.
"The first thing we have to say is that none of us fans know what is going on behind the scenes, all we've got is perception as to what we think might have happened or what we can piece together," Jimmy told FLW.
"From the information that Sheffield United fans have got about James Bord, he's been an absolute disaster behind the scenes.
"He's now gone into our nearest rivals and potentially will be taking over and utilising a model that saw us go significantly backwards in the summer.
"He sacked Chris Wilder, or was instrumental in the sacking of Chris Wilder, which speaks for itself, but he's brought in players like Ukaki, Nwachukwu and Zetterstrom for a combined £5 million, but none of them have played a minute of competitive football for Sheffield United.
"They have been a complete waste of money.
"I wish Sheffield Wednesday all the best, with a wry smile, I have to say."

Of course, Bord should not be judged until he has a chance to set out his plans for Wednesday, and there is a chance his takeover bid may not even receive EFL approval, but Owls supporters could be forgiven for being concerned that he seems to be in pole position to become the club's new owner.
Bord is believed to have played an instrumental role in the decision to replace Wilder with Ruben Selles at Sheffield United in the summer, as well as bringing in a host of transfer flops, and that resulted in a horror start to the season that saw the Blades lose all of their first six games in all competitions.
United have got back on track since Wilder's return in September, and the 58-year-old has been able to recruit some more experienced players to bolster his squad, but there is no doubt that Bord's actions in the summer caused major damage at Bramall Lane.
The fact that Bord managed to effectively rip apart a club that had reached the play-off final the previous season in the space of just a few months will undoubtedly alarm the Wednesday faithful, and they face an anxious wait to see if he is given the green light from the EFL.
