All the latest transfer news surrounding Wrexham's interest in Sidiki Cherif
Sidiki Cherif has emerged as a sensational transfer option for Wrexham as we approach the final days of the January transfer window.
The Red Dragons are aiming to fight for a play-off place in the Championship in their first year competing at this level since 1982.
Phil Parkinson’s side have adapted well to the step up from League One, and they are just two points behind sixth place Preston North End.
Wrexham have until 2 February to complete any potential business before the winter window ends, having not made any additions so far this month.
Here we look at all the latest surrounding their interest in Sidiki Cherif, with just over a week left in the market…

Cherif has emerged as a potential transfer target for Wrexham this January, as they look to bolster their attacking options.
According to Alan Nixon, the Red Dragons are weighing up an offer worth £19 million for the 19-year-old.
It’s believed that the Welsh outfit are willing to pay an immediate £12 million, with a further £7 million to be owed as add-ons, such as if promotion to the Premier League is secured.
The Championship side are hoping they can win the race to his signature, with an immediate route to regular first team football seen as a possibly persuasive factor in the battle to bring the teenager to English football.

Wrexham are not the only side in England’s top two divisions looking to sign Cherif this winter, with the club facing competition from Premier League rivals.
It has been reported by Sky Sports that Crystal Palace are also in the market for the forward amid uncertainty over Jean-Philippe Mateta.
The Eagles are looking to strengthen their squad, with the club still competing in the UEFA Conference League.
The London outfit have reportedly offered a loan with an obligation to buy that will require certain targets to be met in order to be triggered.
It’s understood that the offer is worth an initial £2.6 million loan fee, along with a £10.5 million payment to make it a permanent move, totalling £13.1 million.

It has also been reported by Sky Sports that French side Angers have reduced their initial asking price of £21.8 million, which could prove beneficial for Wrexham.
The Ligue 1 club are believed to be seeking a full package worth closer to £17.4 million.
It remains to be seen whether the £19 million offered by the Championship side will meet those demands, particularly with only £12 million guaranteed.
Cherif has contributed four goals from 18 appearances in the top flight this season, making him a very highly sought-after signing.

Parkinson has responded to the speculation regarding a potential pursuit of Cherif this January, claiming that there is some truth to the rumours regarding signings.
The Wrexham boss has indicated that nothing concrete has moved forward, and that there are no guarantees that Cherif will join the club by 2 February.
"There are lots of names we get linked with, some have got some truth in them and some of them haven't," said Parkinson, via the Evening Leader.
"At this stage of the window, there's enquiries and there's talks going on. Sometimes they come to fruition, sometimes they don't.
"That's all I can say on any transfer targets at the moment.
"I am firmly concentrating on the players we have got, and to bring players in we have got to move players out.
"Of course, we are always looking out there for players who will be able to help us from now until the end of the season, and going forward, and if the right player became available at the right price, then obviously we would make a move but it's not an absolute necessity."
