Tottenham Hotspur will face off against West Ham United at the London Stadium this Saturday evening as they look to secure a win on the road in the London derby. Spurs suffered a lackluster 1-0 loss against Bournemouth before the international break. Hence, the North London club would be eager to put in a good showing versus the Hammers this weekend.

Thomas Frank will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and could make one tweak to his starting XI for this derby. Xavi Simons is expected to make his Premier League debut for Spurs this Saturday.

Defence

Guglielmo Vicario will function in goal for Tottenham after shipping in one goal in his last league appearance. Cristian Romero will continue to play alongside Micky van de Ven at the centre of Frank’s backline as they look to keep the opposition at bay throughout the 90 minutes.

Pedro Porro will fill in as the right-back, while Djed Spence hopes to put in a good display on the other flank as the left-back. Frank will give both of them the license to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Kevin Danso and Destiny Udogie will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Frank could name a midfield three of Pape Matar Sarr, Joao Palhinha and Rodrigo Bentancur as they look to establish their dominance over the opposition in the middle of the park. All three of them need to move the ball well if they want to create some clear-cut chances in the final third.

Lucas Bergvall will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second half if required.

Attack

Xavi Simons could get a chance to make his Premier League debut this weekend. He will be expected to serve as a left-winger for this game. Mohammed Kudus will try to weave his magic on the right flank.

Richarlison will once again get the opportunity to lead the charge for Spurs up top.

Randal Kolo Muani will be named on the bench and might come to make an impact in the latter stages of this contest if needed.
