On Wednesday evening, the Daily Mail reported that Bayern Munich are considering a summer swoop for Manchester City centre-back John Stones.
According to Sky Deutschland, however, there is no truth to these suggestions, with the German outlet stating that Bayern are not planning a move for the 31-year-old, whose contract expires this summer.

Dayot Upamecano and Jonathan Tah have been Bayern’s preferred starting duo in central defence in the 2025/26 season, with Kim Minjae and Hiroki Ito providing competition.
Both Kim and Ito have been linked with summer moves away from the Säbener Straße.
Bayern Munich’s top target for the summer transfer window is said to be Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon, with talks between the two clubs reportedly underway.
