Sky Sports provide latest update on Moises Caicedo’s new contract at Chelsea

Moises Caicedo could see the terms of his contract adjusted to reflect his status as a world class midfielder according to Sky Sports.
Caicedo joined Chelsea for a then a British transfer record from Brighton in the summer of 2023, and has proven to be an exceptional signing.
The 24-year-old has established himself as one of, if not the best midfielders in the Premier League, and is arguably one of the best in the world.
Caicedo has once again been in superb form this season, and has started every league game so far, whilst he’s also scored four goals.
Maresca believes Caicedo is one of the top two midfielders in the world, and he’s arguably Chelsea’s most important player.

The Ecuador international is under contract until 2031, whilst there’s an option to extend that deal by a further 12 months.
However, Chelsea are looking to offer Caicedo a new contract as a reward for his fine form, and Sky Sports have provided an update.
They report the Blues could look to adjust the terms of Caicedo’s current deal to reflect his status as a world class midfielder.
Despite the absence of Cole Palmer, Caicedo is the player Chelsea can least afford to be without, with Jason Cundy describing him as the heartbeat of the side.
Caicedo isn’t the only player Chelsea are looking to offer a new contract to, with the Blues reportedly keen to offer Malo Gusto a new deal.
