Ajax technical director Alex Kroes has been receiving a lot of praise, as it was announced that the club’s finances have improved faster than expected.

Kroes is the outwardly visible face of the transfer window, but according to De Telegraaf, Ajax considers the successful operation a true team effort that everyone at the club supported.

Looking at the transfer fees, the Amsterdam club acquired new players for a total of €52 million. On the other hand, players were sold for over €85 million.
