Inter Milan star Denzel Dumfries reached an impressive milestone in last night’s emphatic Serie A win over Roma. 

After the game, the Dutch wingback took to Instagram to pay tribute to his 200th appearance for the Nerazzurri, as reported by FCInterNews.

Cristian Chivu’s side thrashed the Giallorossi 5-2 at San Siro to steer nine points clear at the top of the Serie A table.

Meanwhile, Denzel Dumfries registered his third consecutive league start after returning from a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Indeed, the 29-year-old regained full fitness just before the international break, having spent four months sidelined with an ankle injury.

Though this could be Dumfries’ last season in Serie A, Chivu continues to rely heavily on the former PSV Eindhoven star.

Indeed, Dumfries is still waiting for his first assist this term. On a more positive note, he has scored three goals in 21 matches so far.
