Barcelona took firm steps to ensure they would not lose any key players on the last day of the January transfer window.
According to a report from Fichajes, despite receiving offers for three players, the club decided to keep Pablo Torre, Pau Victor, and Hector Fort in the squad.
This move was driven by the club’s desire to maintain a strong team dynamic and not risk weakening the squad in the middle of a busy season.
While Barcelona had already made the decision not to bring in any new signings during the winter transfer window, they were equally determined to hold on to their current players.
Offers had come in for these three players, including interest from teams competing in the Champions League, but Barcelona’s board rejected all approaches.

The club felt that letting these players leave would leave them short of options, especially with no time to find quality replacements.
Torre’s situation received particular attention from FC Porto. Although a loan move for him was considered, Barcelona ultimately decided against it because the offers did not meet the club’s expectations.
While it is possible that Torre could leave in the future, the club opted not to make any rushed decisions in the current transfer window. They believe it is important to give the young midfielder the chance to prove himself in the squad.
Similarly, Victor and Fort attracted interest from other clubs. However, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick was extremely clear about his stance—he did not want to lose any players in January unless a significant reinforcement, like Marcus Rashford, were to join.
With a packed fixture schedule ahead, Barcelona’s priority is to keep the squad intact, ensuring that all available players are ready to contribute in the crucial months ahead.
