Manchester United are interested in Ajax youngster Mika Godts. The club have been making checks on certain players across Europe as they aim to sign a left-sided attacker to add depth to the squad, and Godts is one of the players they have highlighted as a person of interest.
Godts has scored 17 goals and delivered 11 assists in 32 games this season for Ajax, making him one of the most sought-after talents in Europe. The Belgian, who was surprisingly not added to the country’s World Cup squad, had the most successful dribbles, the second most goals, the second most assists, and the second most key passes in the entire division.

Reports elsewhere state Chelsea is also tracking the winger, but sources close to AttackingFootball have told us United have a clear interest in Godts and has registered this interest.
United and Ajax have a good relationship, negotiating for Lisandro Martinez andAntony within the last few seasons, while also taking their manager Erik ten Hag at one stage too.
The Reds are likely to be wary of overpaying for the Belgian as they did with Antony, with Ajax getting £90m out of the club during the 2022 window.
INEOS are unlikely to overpay, with a new regime at the club highlighting Antony as one of the stark overpayments in recent seasons.
Interest for now, but due to INEOS’s mantra of players under 25, and the need for a new left winger at the club, it would not be a surprise to see the Reds make a move for Mika Godts this summer.
A left winger will be a welcome addition to the Manchester United squad. Matheus Cunha is currently the sole left-sided attacker within the team, and even the Brazilian isn’t a true winger by nature.
Michael Carrick’s side is unlikely to add Marcus Rashford back into the fold next season, with Barcelona anticipated to make his successful loan deal permanent in the coming months. Rashford broke the record for the most goal contributions by a loan player during his time in Catalunya last season.
Godts will not be the only player being watched and targeted at Old Trafford, but he is one of the most exciting players the club will be eyeing.
