Real Madrid are not giving up on the idea of signing Paris Saint-Germain’s talented midfielder Vitinha, according to an update from Defensa Central.
It is known that the Spanish giants are searching for a new midfield conductor to strengthen their squad, and Vitinha is seen as the ideal choice.
The Portuguese star has impressed with his performances at PSG, and Madrid believe he could be the perfect addition to their midfield.
However, there is a big obstacle in the way. Vitinha’s current contract with PSG runs until June 30, 2029, and the Ligue 1 champions have no plans to sell him anytime soon.
This makes any immediate deal almost impossible. Even so, Real Madrid have not completely ruled out a move for Vitinha in the future, especially if the situation changes or PSG show interest in one of Madrid’s own players.
One of the ideas being considered by Real Madrid is to include Eduardo Camavinga in a potential swap deal. PSG have long admired the French midfielder, who has struggled to secure a permanent starting place at Madrid.

By offering Camavinga plus cash, Real Madrid could tempt PSG into opening negotiations for Vitinha. They are reportedly preparing a proposal worth €100 million, including Camavinga, if they see any chance of success.
Real Madrid know the time to act could be now, especially with the Club World Cup about to finish, which might create the perfect moment to push forward with their plans.
However, club officials also understand the importance of being patient and not making rash decisions.
They are carefully monitoring the market for defenders and midfielders but only want to make moves that represent real opportunities rather than paying inflated prices.
The coming weeks will be key as Real Madrid weigh up their options and watch Vitinha’s situation at PSG.
If there is any sign that a deal could be possible, the Spanish giants are ready to move quickly to bring one of Europe’s brightest midfield talents to the Santiago Bernabeu.
