A member of the Spanish national team’s attacking ranks may be forced to watch the rest of the World Cup from the stands.
This comes amid the understanding that Yéremy Pino has picked up a significant injury.
Winger Pino for his part featured off the bench in the early hours of Saturday, as Spain closed out their World Cup group stage campaign in a meeting with Uruguay.
En route to an eventual 1-0 triumph for Luis de la Fuente’s troops, however, the Crystal Palace man suffered a suspected broken collarbone.
And in a heavy blow for player and country alike, as much could prove serious enough to see Pino not take to the pitch in the colours of La Roja again this summer.
As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano, citing Spanish outlet Marca:
🚨⚠️ Spain staff fear Yeremy Pino’s injury is serious and his World Cup might be over, reports Marca.–
