Tottenham Hotspur will entertain Manchester United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday afternoon as they hope to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. Spurs managed to earn a dominant 4-0 win over Copenhagen in the UEFA Champions League recently, which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.

Thomas Frank will opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation once again and is expected to make some changes to his first XI for this clash. Djed Spence, Joao Palhinha and Mohammed Kudus could all play from the start of this game.

Defence

Guglielmo Vicario will feature in between the sticks for Spurs after he kept a clean sheet in his last outing. Cristian Romero will function alongside Micky van de Ven at the heart of the Tottenham backline as they look to keep a solid shape on the defensive end of the field.

Pedro Porro will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Djed Spence hopes to impress on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them would hope to go forward and express themselves inside the Man United half.

Destiny Udogie and Kevin Danso will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Joao Palhinha and Rodrigo Bentancur will anchor the midfield for Spurs as they try to make life difficult for the opposition at the centre of the park.

The gifted trio of Xavi Simons, Pape Matar Sarr and Mohammed Kudus, who is a slight concern ahead of this game, will play just ahead of them as part of the Tottenham attack. All three of them need to combine well if they want to engineer some inviting chances on the offensive end of the field.

Brennan Johnson and Wilson Odobert will have to settle for a place on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Randal Kolo Muani will spearhead Tottenham’s attack up top. He has to figure out a way to be a constant menace in the final third.

Richarlison will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages of the game if required.
