Sport agree Zé Lucas sale to Cruzeiro for 25.5 million reais | OneFootball

Sport have agreed the sale of 18-year-old midfielder Zé Lucas to Cruzeiro for five million dollars, about 25.5 million reais, with 60% of his economic rights included and two loan players expected to arrive. According to Globo.com, the deal was struck on Friday.

Sport will retain 20% of the rights, with the remaining 20% held by the player and his representative. Paperwork is in its final stage with contract drafts being exchanged, and signing is expected in the coming days after legal review.

The payment schedule is three million dollars in August, then one million in September and one million in October.

Chico da Costa and Murilo Rikhman are expected to join Sport on loan, with Cruzeiro covering all wages. In Murillo’s case, Sport will be entitled to 35% of any future sale if it occurs within the period set between the clubs.

Zé Lucas has a five-year contract agreed and will travel to Belo Horizonte tonight for medical tests. His salary will be around four times the roughly 60,000 reais he earned at Sport.

His release from Sport was posted on the CBF website on Friday night. He captained Brazil’s under-17s to the 2025 South American title, has since joined the under-20s, and leaves after 57 matches. Flamengo offered one million euros for 10% of his rights for their under-20s, which did not appeal.
